Thousands of years ago a huge glacier came down from the Aosta Valley and, when it retreated, left behind an amphitheatre of hills and a necklace of small lakes. Today it is one of the most peaceful corners of the Canavese, just a few minutes from Ivrea.
We will walk along quiet paths among chestnut woods, granite boulders and water lilies, stopping at the lakes to talk about legends, nature and the Serra, the long straight ridge that closes the horizon.
We end with a picnic of local produce by the water — the kind of simple, perfect moment that stays with you.
